After Day 1, it’s clear you guys are big fans of tradition and success, and you are also hugely patriotic homers. Gone are the flashy Cameroons, Croatias and Ivory Coasts of the tournament, beaten out by classic, bold jerseys of the world’s best teams. The biggest upset came from the United States, who knocked off Argentina. Yes: Argentina, whose blue and white stripes are only just about the most iconic soccer jersey in the world.

2014 World Cup Brackets

I entered my preliminary picks into a bracket where I have Brazil taking the win on their home soil by getting the win over upstart Belgium in the Finals. I’ll probably enter another take or two since you can have up to three brackets in our group.
