Tonymacx86 Catalina

Hey Folks,
Have been running and updating high Sierra for a few years now without issue but now I am trying (very patiently for the past day) to install Catalina with, so far, zero luck. I have tried:
Doing a direct upgrade from High Sierra as per the instructions and...
Doing a Unibeast clean install (the installation of Uni on the USB was successful and clean).
When I try to do either method, I go from the black Apple load screen with progress bar, to a blank black screen that sits forever. After some time, if I leave it long enough, the machine reboots to the usual High Sierra login screen with none of the usual Apple install screen. I have disconnected drives leaving only the required, rebuilt Unibeast, cloned High Sierra (twice) onto a fresh SSD (via Carbon Cloner), set it as the boot and tried to install/update on that. Nothing works.
I have gone through the forums to see what I can find and the only thing that seems related is to make sure SSDT-EC.aml is present in the ...ACPI/patched in the relevant EFI dirs, which it is.
Any ideas out there, as I am really stumped on this one.
I have attached a screen shot of the -v output just before the screen goes blank.

i7 8700k
MSI Radeon RX580 Armour
Cheers All!
